My dog has been having seizures?

my dog has been having seizures for the past 24 hours. they began yesterday at 11am and have become more violent and intense. She has had 3 not intense seizures and 7 very intense ones. She has lost control of her bowels and foams at the mouth I took her to the vet this morning and they diagnosed her with being poisoned with something toxic (probably a toad). They prescribed her volume, a charcoal like liquid and steroids. The dr said the seizures shouldn't be as often, and they aren't but are much more intense. She is very confused and is walking around like a drunk person. Please help I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
