I have some questions about a Marlin 336 chambered in 30-30?

I just got a new Marlin 336 chambered in 30-30. I am going to be using it in a big game hunt in North Carolina. I was wondering how far it could shoot accurately? I am hoping to shoot about 200 yards at least with it. What is some good Ammo and a good scope for it?
