What kind of animal was this?

i live on a 50,000 acre ranch and me and a few of my hunting buddies were camping out un the middle of the woods in a tent! then something big started hitting our tent. not like an animal like rocks flying really fast and they were big. Then we heard what sounded like a loud scream right next to us. we wouldnt get out of the tent instead we got right in the middle of it. The next morning we walked out of the tent and it was surrounded by little rocks and a few bigger ones then about 10 feet from the tent there was a rock that weighed about 50 lbs that wasnt there the night b4! what was it?
