Tadpole in 20gal aquarium?

My Tadpole hasn't begun to change yet, but he's pretty big I think it is a toad. Can it go in my 20 gal aquarium with tetras and crabs and Cory catfish? Atleast until it changes? Or should I keep it in the 5gal!?
