PET TOAD HELP PLZPLZPLZPLZPLZPLZPLZPZLZ?

Me and my friend where outside and found a houston toad and decided to keep him. We put him in a sorta kinda glass fish cage thing we put some artificial plants in there. what should we feed him i got strawberry's and cut them up small and put them in there i dont think that i want to buy him instects yet cause im not sure i wanna keep him yet so plz help what should i feed him and what should i put on the floor of his cage?
