Couple things. First you say you hardly ever argue, Obviously you two are young and freshly in love, what would you have to argue about? That is a concern if you HARDLY argue over insignificant things. Second, You only speak of words with the exception of the hand holding, Love is more than telling, He should be showing, and not sexually, he should be treating you like a lady... (opening doors, bringing you your favorite candy bar or your favorite drink to show that he was thinking of you while he was at the store, commenting on how beautiful you look in those clothes, NOT how beatiful your body is.) Everything that you have said so far tells me that he is looking at you as most teenage boys would and the kissing you in front of friends could be showing possession, but that is not love. He may very well love you and just to young to show it properly but don't get to serious until you find things happenening that make you believe without asking others, "Do you guys THINK he loves me?"
