Are Fire-Bellied Toads good pets to start out with?

I had some when I was 9 months old when I didn't know what anything was and but now my mom said I can get them and I have to take care of them. I know how to make the tank set-up but the problem is I don't know how many times a day and how many days a week I need to feed them? So for starters on a pet are they good pets?
